Our Recovery Experience It is PROVEN 12 Step Programs WORK. To be clean we strongly suggest that anyone in recovery or seeking recovery should work a program. No matter what program you choose, it is important to work one. We suggest from experience one or more of the following: a 12 step program, be involved in a fellowship, get counseling, practice a religion, have a higher power or any other form of therapy. This is not the full list of recovery methods but the most common used. At least one and usually more than one of these recovery methods from our experience is how we stay clean. Fellowship with other non-using people and including our family and friends has been the key to our recovery and wellness. As well, and one of the most important is you have to want it, and make the decision to do so. Again from great amounts of experience change your circle of friends and associates who use.
